Our stay at the Hotel ImperoPosted Jun 23, 2014
Cons: Friendliness, Cleanliness and amenities in the room. We paid a lot for a room that didn't give us comfort it should have.
We were very disappointed with the hotel on this trip to Rome. We had stayed there 9 yrs ago when we went to Rome and enjoyed the stay. This time, we had the exact same room to which nothing had changed. The little refrigerator had to be the exact same one we had and did not work. It kept nothing cold. The week we were there they were under a heat wave and it was 35+ everyday. They locked the air conditioning the rooms to a certain temperature and with 4 people in a room it was quite warm and you had no cold beverage to cool you because the refrigerator didn't work properly. We paid for Wi Fi that didn't connect most of the time and after complaining they "made some adjustments" and suddenly it worked!! Also they staff were not very helpful. We had asked them a number of questions about getting around the city and there response was "We don't know". No attempt to be helpful. Very disappointing and I would not stay there again. Also we found dirty socks under the bed and molding grapes!! No one had obviously cleaned under the bed!
