People at the restaurant is very friendly...for Breakfast and for dinner also, except for the manager at night who was not very friendly with the staff. Reception Manager at night, a woman, very unprofessional. Also one staff at night, as they do not care to listen to you. In our case, something, not valuable, but still had disappeared from the room, but there was never an answer and only excuses and at the end, no answer or explanation was given.

This hotel has an area that is under construction. The room was clean and comfortable, but, at least in January, they do not turn on the A/C. The room was hot and they only offered us to open the balcony door, which caused mosquitos to invade our room. The hotel is far from any attractions or restaurants. We had to take a taxi or Uber anywhere we wanted to go. Not so convenient.

It was disappointing to have some chocolates disappear from the room, and it is not about the price, obviously, but the fact. And when asked at the front desk, the answer was, that if the chocolates were open, then the policy was to throw away any food in the rooms. Really? I think unless it is dangerous material, nothing should be touched while you are staying in your room and if they find anything that they should take, they should let you know. Very bad response from Georgia, the manager on duty.

Property is clean and staff are great. Brought my own vehicle and parking is always available and safe. It is 30min away from airport, 15min away from Vatican and 20min from Colloseum. Breakfast place and staff are nice. Good pancake breakfast with fresh fruit and different bread options. It was a pleasant stay.

NOT a family friendly hotel (it shows as that on Expedia), SPA/Pool aren’t open to under 16yo, which is NOT mentioned prior to booking.When we found out the hotel said we could use outdoor pool- which was closed. This is a business hotel and it was full of confernece attendees.

Crowne Plaza close to Excellent!
Excellent for a European hotel. And especially for the price. Large room. Very good bed. Excellent desk personnel, very helpful. Minor issue, no wash cloths, not a regular item in the room, had to ask for them. Had at least two US 3-prong outlets. Only inexcusable issue was a broken toilet seat hinge, reported first day of four, never fixed or replaced. Made temporary fix with zip ties I carry for attaching cruise ID tags to luggage. A bit far from center city (15-20 Euros), but we knew that. Not much close bye, restaurants or shopping.
