This stunning property, named after our beloved St. Bernard to whom we had to say goodbye on May 4, 2016, is located on 8-acres on a private lot in the esteemed West Ridge private community. Upon entrance on to the property you will park your vehicles under the carport to the right of the garage. Walk through the gardens where you will see your guest house on the right. Upon entering your personal private code (which will be provided prior to arrival) on the front door, you will step into the living room and your vacation begins. The upstairs bedroom is spacious with a california king bed and its own bathroom. It also has a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee while admiring the vineyard view. The downstairs bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with amazing views and a patio furnished with a table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with your basic cooking needs including an assortment of coffees and teas. Outside on the patio off of the kitchen is a gas barbecue which is yours to use during your stay. Do not forget your bathing suits so you can enjoy the large infinity pool and Jacuzzi (FOR SAFETY REASONS, THE SLIDE AND WATERFALL ARE NOT INCLUDED). Located on the front lawn is a gazebo which is another great place to relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the vineyard view. While outside you might get lucky and see a family of deer, rabbits or even roadrunners. And if you do decide to leave the property there are an abundance of top-rated wineries in the area most of which have tasting rooms open daily. Also, Downtown Paso Robles is home to many tasting rooms, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping. Throughout your entire stay the pool area and jacuzzi are exclusively available for your use until 10 pm (The slide is not included), you will not have to share with anyone else.

Wonderful Property!
This guest house was absolutely amazing! The infinity pool was a huge benefit for us during this heatwave. There is a beautiful lawn area that we could just sit on and have a glass of wine later in the evening. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds were amazing! I'd highly recommend this guest house!

Summer getaway
My family and I really enjoyed the property. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels for the pool. The neighborhood was quiet and really enjoyed the pool/ hot tub and outdoor patio/bbq area. Although it s up in the mountains it’s only a few minutes from down Paso and local wineries/ eateries. Hari (host) was very prompt and courteous to answer any questions I had before and during our stay.

Wine Down Birthday Weekend
This beautiful property was everything it promised and more!!! We were even more surprised, because the pictures online are older pics, the upgrades put into the house are awesome!! Fully stocked kitchen, loved cooking inside and outside. The views, incredible. The house was perfectly located, so close to stores, wineries, and restaurants in downtown Paso. We felt very safe on the property, and had complete privacy. We never even had the opportunity to meet the owner(s) because we never saw them. The highlight, besides the wine? THE POOL!!!! We floated in there for hours just relaxing after consuming delicious wines and tasty food. Mahalo to Hari and his ‘ohana for letting us hang out in their beautiful space.

This house is beautiful and very clean. The backyard is HUGE with a large grass area and the pool is big and beautiful. We love this house and felt very safe. I also go for runs in the mornings and felt very safe on my run in the neighborhood, which is extremely important to me as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing getaway
Hari and the property were both amazing. The location is just a few minutes from downtown, but feels like you are in the countryside. Communication with Hari with efficient, he was responsive and gracious. I usually feel like I get maybe 2-4 hours of actual relaxation on a long weekend. This place set the tone immediately, and all of us just felt our stress melting away. We are keeping this place as a favorite for next time!

Mostly Pro's, some Con's
The property is located a short drive from downtown Paso, but far enough out that you are surrounded by wine country. If you don't think you're out far enough, just look up at the night sky and check out the stars. Living in L.A., I miss that. The gated property is nice and make you feel secure, along w/where the property is located. The house is nice. Smaller two bedroom, but spacious enough if only 4 or 5 are staying there. Nicely appointed. No need to sign into your Netflix. It was already open to watch, which other properties don't do. The outside of the pool is beautiful. We went during December, so we didn't use the pool. We did, however, use the fireplace. It was BIG, so we were able to make a decent fire there with a nice draw. Which leads me to my first "con." I've stayed at properties before with wood fireplaces and firewood was available use. I thought that would be the case here, but it wasn't. We all agreed that was not what we expected. Small thing but worth mentioning. I met Harry and he was very personable. He actually invited us in his house for some wine, which I thought was admirable. (declined due to impending dinner reservations). This leads me to my biggest "con" with this property. There are two houses on the property. They are positioned in somewhat of a "V" set up, with each house forming one leg of the "V." Understand that this "V" is wide, like a 90 degree "V." Okay, enough geometry. The problem is that you live on one leg of the V and Hari and his family live on the other leg of the V (along w/a beautiful St. Bernard). The back of both houses face the inner sides of the V, which means it faces the pool. The pool spans the top of the V, with both houses looking out toward it. This is a little unnerving for me since, if I was visiting in the summer time, I wouldn't want anyone in the other house watching us. Now, I will tell you that Hari's house had their blinds facing the pool area shut the whole time, but one day I walked out to the pool area and there, as big as a pimple on teenager's nose, was a camera facing the pool area. OUCH! Nope! Would not book this place if I came here for a summer pool hang out. Just the though of you possibly being looked at is unnerving. You may not care. One last "con" is that I specifically booked this place to use the hot tub. The hot tub was lukewarm. None of us used it. It was set at as I call, "summer temp", warm, but not hot.

Incredible pool and spacious yard and outdoor space
We loved our stay here in Paso Robles for a long-awaited family reunion. We hosted a dinner night here, eating outside as the young kids ran around the spacious lawn. Happy it was fenced in to have one less thing to worry about. Although the pool was not heated and cold in Nov, we made good use of the hot tub and my daughter enjoyed floating around the (gigantic) pool on an inflatable raft. Would love to try out swimming in the summer season! The guest house itself was quite comfortable and well appointed, although no washer/dryer. The hosts gave us complete privacy and let us use the back yard as if it were our own, very generous. Would stay here again, especially if I have the occasion to host another family dinner.

Great location in wine country with lots of wineries to visit. Also close to Morro Bay (iconic Morro Rock) and Schooner's Cove (a great beach). The house itself is very livable, comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi are fantastic. Last, but not least, all the bunnies on the lawn are awesome. Hip hop bunnies.

Lovely home and host
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is well equipped with all the necessary items for a relaxing visit. The pool was refreshing and jacuzzi was just what we needed after a day of wine tasting. The neighborhood is very quiet and secluded which provided much needed relaxation and privacy. The location is convenient to stores, restaurants and the Paso wineries. Our host, Hari, was very attentive to our questions and needs. I would highly recommend this property and we are looking forward to coming back in the future.

Our only regret was that we didn't stay for longer! The house was perfect for our family relaxation retreat. The various areas surrounding the pool are perfect for swinging, sunbathing, having a morning coffee or evening cocktail and taking a nap. The outdoor kitchen was fantastic and so fun. The owner was amazingly responsive - I didn't realize (my bad) that the house didn't have a washer/dryer so he made arrangements to have it done in the main house. Wish we could have stayed forever!

I wanted to love it
This property is in a good location and has a lovely pool and our interactions with the owners who live in the main house were very pleasant. Our group of four had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay but the house really needs some love as it's a bit deteriorated, especially for the price. The blinds in the lower bedroom had several panels missing so there was no way to make it private or to keep the bright lights from the neighboring property from shining into the bedroom at night. There were also panels missing from the blinds leading out to the pool area. The kitchen had chipped paint on the cabinets, broken tiles and very little storage for food. There was an exposed outlet in the dining area. Oddly, two giant non-working clocks with different times took prominence on the living room walls.. The kitchen had a lot of gadgets but the stove was so low-end that boiling water for pasta or even cooking eggs was a prolonged process. There were plenty of pool towels (and ants on the counter), but no bathmats. A lot of debris was left under the kitchen sink and in the BBQ area. We also found a measuring cup full of dead bugs in the back of a kitchen cupboard. It could be an absolutely incredible vacation getaway if the owners took a little more care. The property appears to be for sale which may account for the seeming disinterest in upkeep and amenities.
