Star Valley Vacations
Star Valley is approximately 50 miles (80 kilometers) from Sedona and 70 miles (113 kilometers) from Flagstaff.
Of course, visiting just one place, no matter how popular, will only ever provide you with a limited view into the broader qualities of a region. So try to set aside some time to enjoy Northern Arizona's other natural and man-made attractions. While in the region, visit the Mazatzal Casino and Tonto National Forest in Payson, approximately 4 miles (6 kilometers) to the northeast of Star Valley.
Around 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the northwest of Star Valley is Sedona, an important regional city home to Kuivato Gallery, Lanning Gallery and Mountain Trails Galleries. Bell Rock, Oak Creek Canyon and Devil's Bridge are also good places to visit.
Rug up and have a go at snowboarding or snow shoeing. Both of these are popular with locals and tourists alike. Unwind the way the locals do in this area. Go shore fishing and camping while you are here.
When booking your trip to Star Valley, it's handy to remember that the closest major airport, Flagstaff Pulliam Field Airport, is situated in in Flagstaff, 65 miles (105 kilometers) to the north.
