Pleasant stayPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: B&B Caravaggio is near the main sights of Syracuse, about a three minute walk. The breakfast was ample and there was a good selection of croissants.
Cons: I cannot think of anything that needs to be improved on.
Location: The location is very close to Ortigia, the old city center. It was very convenient to restaurants, cafes, and the main sights of Syracuse.
We enjoyed Bed and Breakfast Caravaggio. Our host, Antonio, was helpful and extremely nice during our stay. B&B Caravaggio is very close to Ortigia, the center of Syracuse (about a three minute walk). The breakfast was ample and tasty, consisting of typical Sicilian fare (sweet croissants, cold cuts, juice, coffee). The room was large by European standards and very comfortable. At 57 euros per night, I felt it was a very good value. I would stay here again.

Fair and decent B&BPosted May 13, 2014
Pros: Location and the proper continental breakfast.
Cons: Have a modern tv and wardobe. We could not receive wifi in our room due to the location of the room within the B&B.
Location: Restaurants, a supermarket, and good coffee bars.
It is a good location and the host was very serious about the business. The room was good but lacking a proper wardrobe and tv was very old and small. Breakfast was generous , had variety and punctual. Overall, it is a good place to stay in Siracusa. There was no lift to the B&B which is bad if you have heavy luggage.

Cons: Thin walls
Location: 10 mins from train&bus stations.Quit location¢ral
Antonio the owner was very helpful and more than happy to look up things for us on the internet and to store our luggage for us when we checked out.Location was very good, only 10 minutes from the bus&train station,5 mins from Ortigia and 30 mins from the archeological sites. The room was spacious but the walls were very thin and the beds not particularly comfortable.Shower was good with ample hot weather.Breakfast had a good selection and he was happy to make tea.

Pros: The good breakfasts and the kind host. It is close to the railway station.
Location: Ver well located
The gentleman who runs this B&B was the most helpful person in an emergency. He went out of his way to help us with our problems. He also helped everyone who came, even ringing other places to see if they had vacancies. He has a fount of information about all travel in Sicily and Italy. This B6B served the best breakfast, with all fresh, good, food. Nothing in cellophane.
