"Barceló Maya was AHMAZING! Huge, so much to do! The room was clean. A little on the small Side but we literally slept, dressed for the beach and breakfast, and showered in there-so no need for it to be bigger. The pools are awe inspiringly huge. The beach has sugary soft sand, the ocean is stunning! The food was good, always find something you’ll like. The a la cartes were great! Especially loved the Italian Trattoria and Kyoto! So well laid out! The bus was a great option if your legs are feeling tired! We lived it!"

"We love the beach - it is safe for kids. The property is being updated. It’s a huge property, so be ready to walk. Jungle atmosphere and value for money. Food is okah, but we find things we like regularly (fresh fruit, eggs, etc) Staff is awesome. Shoutout to clemente and diana for their great service."

"The parking is right in front of the hotel, the pool is bigger than it looks and very nice and clean, the beach was calm and there are many seating options including hammocks on a beautiful dock, the rooms were very clean and comfortable with large bathrooms, water bottles were free, complimentary breakfast was excellent and you could order from many choices (hot food), plus staff were helpful and friendly. Beautiful location at a great price! Highly recommend. There are other hotels nearby where you can also walk to dinner if you wish to change your scenery at dinner or lunch. Also, this place was good for people looking to relax or families- not a party scene."
