Tofino, British Columbia Hotel Rooms at the Independent

The staff were extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions they had. They allowed my husband and I to have a great and relaxing trip, while discovering the "hidden gems" they recommended!

This visit was the first time we have stayed at the Cox Bay Beach Resort and we loved it! It was so nicely furnished and had all the comforts of home. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever had! It was a short one minute walk to the beach and only minutes from Tofino. Will definitely stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending this spot to friends and relatives.

The room was very nice and it had everything we needed. The view from our room was amazing!

Host was very informative and directed us to places of interest. Even though there was some rain our stay was very pleasant in Ecluelet.

A very relaxed environment with a comfortable, lived- in quality about it. We were awoken to the scent of freshly baked croissants and muffins each morning, and cookies came out of the oven at 8:00 pm. All included in the room rate, even though they don't advertise that fact. This was a lovely place to spend our weekend, and we will definitely return. We left happy and relaxed, which was the whole point after all.

Tucked away from it all, it was more like staying in a one bdrm condo with all the fixings! I mean a fully loaded kitchen including spices for when cooking a meal. Though there are so many great restaurants close by. We stayed in the one bdrm on the ground floor and my only complaint to myself is that i didn't pay a bit more for the soaker tub on a private deck in one of the other rooms. I cannot wait to have another weekend getaway and I know exactly where I am going to book.....The Water's Edge The one thing I would suggest is bring your own groceries if you plan on making your own meals the grocery store is a bit pricier and the room has a nice big fridge and everything you could think of.

Clean rooms , great food , friendly staff Right in the beach, beautiful views with quick access.

lovely and quite.the young lady at deck from south africa,funny and on the ball.even gave us a nice compliment.the young lady that signed us out was also great.full of information.two great staff girls and clean rooms.even got our exericeses for the day up the hill from room to offices ahah .will deffenitly reckamend your hotel and will book again. thank you yvonne burke

We stayed in one of their cabins. It was private, cozy, right on the ocean, in a calm section of the cove. Friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend it to any couple looking for a great getaway.
