Grace Bay Beach, Providenciales - Map
"1st Time but not the last time in TCI"
The island is beautiful. Warm with great beaches. The Regent Palms was recommended by friends who said it was their favorite resort, not just on Turks and Caicos. Upon arrival we were greeted with frozen drinks and a quick orientation to the hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom ocean front suite, which was incredible. It had a full kitchen with a Nespresso machine Viking range, dining room, living room and an outdoor area. We were steps from the pool and beach. Great room and well worth the price. The hotel food, whether in room dining, breakfast buffet or lunch and dinner at one of the restaurants was always good and the staff was very helpful in getting you what you wanted. Our little boy was very happy with his meals. With the exception of the less than responsive concierge when we tried to make dinner reservations in town (ended up calling ourselves) the hotel staff was great. In particular they have a play room for children and the women who ran it eye awesome. Our son often preferred to hang with them and play rather than go to the pool or beach. We liked the place enough to make a future reservation with other family members joining. I highly recommend this place.

"Private island paradise"
Had an amazing experience with my girlfriend for our birthdays. The resort is secluded and gorgeous on all fronts. The miles of pristine beach are breath taking and scarcely occupied. Great infinity pool and dining with breath taking sunset views. Staff goes above and beyond to please guests and no request is seemingly not accomodated. Fresh Cohibas never hurt either! Great for those looking to relax as well as for tge health conscious. All in close proximity are work out facilities, water sports, yoga, and great spa facilities. Not that the food is too heavy, but there is a lower calorie menu available including juice menu at both restaurants. Food and cocktails (and service) are also excellent; miles above any all inclusive or what you expect in the Caribean. That said, food and drink was a bit pricey: comparable in price to a Michelin 3 star restaurant, but not on that level quality wise. Cost of goods to a private island I guess?? Overall we loved this gem and recommend it highly. Hopefully we will go back in a few years.

"Great boutique hotel"
We had a great time at the Windsong! The beach was amazing and there is a Reef right to the left of the hotel that is great for snorkeling. There were also other activities like paddle boat, kayaks, paddle boards that you could use for free. Jojo's is the only restaurant which was great for lunch, but at night we went to different hotels on the beach that were walkable. Somewhere Cafe is right next door and that was wonderful! Overall I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone going to Turks and Caicos!

"Great condo on the less crowded part of Grace Bay"
This was our first stay on this end of Grace Bay (3rd overall) and it was great! Even though the beach was full in the mid part of grace Bay. The beach on this end was nearly deserted and made for some incredible walks. There was a bar and grill right next door, but we cook a lot.. Caught some Tuna and grilled it on the out door gas grill provided. Also lots of shells just past the non existent surf (this beach is more like a pool). The staff are very friendly and can arrange any trips you want to take

"Great location in the middle of everything."
This hotel experience was exactly what I was expecting for a 4 night get away in the middle of February. Location had a very classy feel, with a great beach and pool. Most guests seemed mid 30-50's. Quiet location, with no screaming kids. (what we were after) Room (102) was immense with everything you need to dine. Only drawback is that this bed/boxspring needs replacement.

Ocean Club West

Grace Bay at Leeward, Providenciales TCA - Map
Ocean Club West, for us, just the right size for us. We were looking for a very comfortable and relaxed place to stay in this island paradise without mobs of people and too many swirling activities; everything is available but for the asking. The accommodations are very clean, well maintained and comfortable. This is a very much a family place. The grounds and pool are beautiful and notably m lore colorful with flowers than what we observed at other resorts. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The island, its weather, beaches, gorgeous waters and many available attractions is awesome!

Best and Worst Times to Visit Turks and Caicos

Clear skies and toasty temperatures make December through May the ideal time to visit Turks and Caicos. These months are considered the dry season, when there is little to no rain and the weather is perfect for taking a dip in the ocean. Temperatures generally hover in the 80s F, but with this ideal island weather comes the crowds. The majority of vacationers visit between May and March, which means rates will be higher during this time. If you don’t mind the occasional chance of rain, consider visiting just before the rainy season, between April and May, to face fewer people and lower rates.

Hurricane season runs from the beginning of June to the end of the November, which means there could be anything from minor sprinkles to major storms during this time frame. The warm temperatures and rainfall also attract mosquitos. While it might be considered the worst time to visit, you will find some of the cheapest rates on the islands at this time.

    Things to Do

Out on the water is one of the best places to be during your visit to Turks and Caicos. Kick off your water adventures with a snorkeling excursion down at Bight Reef or Smith’s Reef, where you can swim among stingrays, turtles, and colorful fish galore. Next, kayak around the Little Water Cay’s islets, or wade around the shallow water at Taylor Bay. While you’re in paradise, scuba dive off the coast of Governor’s Beach and surrender to the sunshine on Pillory Beach.

After gallivanting in the sand and sea, check out some of the attractions on dry land. Explore the ruins of the plantation at Cheshire Hall, and venture into the Middle Caicos Caves. As the Caribbean’s largest collection of limestone caves, these caverns feature fascinating arrangements of stalagmites and stalactites. During your stay, mosey over to the Grand Turk Lighthouse and Her Majesty’s Prison before retreating to one of the best resorts in Turks and Caicos.
