I recently stayed at Port of Call and had a fantastic experience. The staff were amiable and helpful, making me feel welcome when I arrived. The hotel was clean, with well-maintained rooms and common areas. The location was perfect, as it was within walking distance of several excellent restaurants and shops, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine. The beach is across the street. They provide a shuttle service, but the walk is not bad. Although the beach was not on site, I like that at the beach, they provide chairs and umbrellas. Overall, port of call provided a comfortable and convenient stay with outstanding service.

The lounge umbrellas on the beach were in poor condition and should certainly be replaced. Also, due to affordable pricing, which is good, it attracts crowds that do not have proper vacation etiquette, and disturb those who wants to enjoy some quite time on the beach.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ports of Call Resort! It was our first time ever in Turks and Caicos and the hotel and staff are amazing! Just a heads up that there is no elevator but upon arrival, a staff member brought our luggage to our room! How kind :) The staff at the front desk are very friendly and knowledgeable on activities and restaurant suggestions around the area. Starting with the room, it was clean and cool with air conditioning plus a fan. The beds are very comfortable! The free breakfast consisted of breakfast items such as eggs, bread, yogurts, orange juice, fruit etc. A huge plus was the free cold water to stay hydrated and refreshed all day long. I highly suggest bringing your own water bottle for refills! Other than that the location is PERFECT with walking distance to multiple restaurants, cafes, gift shops, and most importantly: the most amazing beach! The resort has its own beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. We would definitely stay here again!!

Location was excellent - about a 5 min walk to the beach, grocery store, pharmacy, even an urgent care center. At the beach, the resort chairs and umbrellas are immediately at the pedestrian access point. These are free for guests as well as kayaks and SUPs. If you booked a catamaran snorkeling cruise, the Ritz Carlton dock is nearby. Facilities were clean. We paid about $13 to use the washing machine and dryer. Breakfast was good. The staff were cordial.

First visit to Turks, definitely not the last. Great resort, clean, quiet, and in a location that's close enough to the shops, Beach and restaurants to be in walking distance. Great helpful staff. One front desk employee, I Believe his name was Bernardo was an amazing, incredibly friendly and helpful person.

Definitely needs updating! Be aware that you’re going to be with the clientele that’s “on a budget” Suuuuuper noisy guests, door slamming, speakers at the beach, pool, etc. No concept of quiet at all. Breakfast was subpar. Staff were amazing!

The hotel is in a convenient location. Sandy (front receptionist) was excellent, very friendly and helpful. However, the other workers made us feel like we were bothering them. The bartender was very rude, most of these employees seemed mad that they were even there. I noticed a cockroach on the breakfast counter which grossed us out. When we brought the concern to a person working there, his response was “ok” Overall, you get what’s your pay for. The hotel is in a great location but I wouldn’t go back to it.

Overall it’s pretty good. Close to beach and has shuttle take you there if you don’t want to walk (5 minutes) staffs are very friendly and helpful! The only suggestion will be if we can drop off the hotel towels at the beach counter instead of carrying wet and salted towels walking back to resort.

This is one of the best deals in the area. Cost is incredible compared to neighboring sites, a third of the cost of other resorts, Very easy walking distance to the beach and right behind the Ritz Carlton and Seven stars resorts. The facility itself did not have many eating options, but there were plenty near by. Grocery store is also very close and easily walkable, which was so helpful since we got a room with a full kitchen. Helps save on going out to eat. My biggest complaint are the beach chairs and beach umbrellas. Umbrellas are positioned very low so it’s difficult to get in and out from under them and the lounge chairs on the beach were fairly uncomfortable. They have a mesh net across the entire chair, thus when you sit, the seat back pulls tight and sits up straight making it difficult to keep the chair in the lying position. Normal this wouldn’t matter much, but seeing as the goal of the trip is to sit on the beach, the lounge equipment makes a difference. Also the water in the shower would run out of hot water every other day and this made it hard to shave your legs given how cold we kept the room. When the water had hot water you could not adjust it from very hot to a medium temp,. Aside from these two things we LOVED our stay and if Turks wasn’t so expensive in general we would absolutely come back to ports of call

Good location. Basically a nice motel. Staff was nice. Breakfast was not good unless you like to carb load in the morning. I would recommend this place if you want an affordable option in grace bay area that is five minute walk from the beach.

Outdated and lack of awareness. Room trouble the first night, which was switched to another room which ended up having more troubles. I told the front desk and house keeper. A manager was called and basically I was told expedia can handle it there nothing they can do to reimburse me. There are plenty of better hotel options around, this one is outdated and lacks good service.

Port of Calls was amazing, we loved our stay and will definitely be returning. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I had 1 special request for the clear kayak photo shoot, for my birthday and they went above and beyond to ensure it happened. Port of calls is the perfect location and accessible to nightlife, the beach, and nice eating places. The room was nice and clean and staff was available for assistance with any request that we had. Thank you, Port of Calls for such a wonderful stay.
