I am a frequent traveler and found this hotel to be a great value for the price. It offered the kind of room I expect in a higher-tier lodging. The king-size room was spacious and bright. The breakfast buffet was the nicest I've seen in a hotel in a long time. I will definitely return when traveling through Van Buren again.

Other reviews I had read were right on. The hotel was clean, the staff was courteous. The breakfast buffet offered a much greater variety than most economy type hotels. Besides all the cold items, they had waffles, eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. The staff kept the eating area very clean. The location was not ideal. It is on the outer edge of Van Buren adjacent to IH540, but the traffic noise wasn't bad. It is not in a "bad" part of town, it is just on the outskirts. Van Buren is not that big, though, and you can be downtown or cross into Ft. Smith in less than 5 minutes. I would say the only downside would be that the second floor rooms are accessed only by inside stairways on each end of the building. An elevator to get luggage up and down would have been good.
