"Visited in May 2024 - this is a wonderful, clean, stay in a second-floor carriage house, literally a stone's throw from a private sandy beach. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry, with convenient beach chairs and umbrellas, toys for the kids. WiFi is spotty, but who wants to do work when the beach is across the street?!? Highly recommended!"

The house was extremely clean and very well decorated giving it that beachy feel. My kids loved the games that were available and being able to walk into Mystic for ice cream and shopping. Although we chose not cook while we were there, the kitchen seemed to have just about everything you would need. We loved being able to walk to a bakery...

"This place was horrible. When we arrived the cleaning/maintenance people were outside having a screaming match. There were mouse droppings in the cabinets with the dishes. There were acorns on the couch. One of the queen size beds were broken and unable to be slept in. There was supposed to be a pull out couch which in fact was a blow up mattress. "Loved the view of the pond from the various outdoor seating areas. The small dock was great for the best view and was fun to see the turtles. So peaceful, reminded us of a bird sanctuary. Michael and Ashleigh were very responsive to any inquiry we made. Kitchen nice size and well equipped for our stay.
