"The sauna was down for repair but it didn't take away from the experience. The hot tub was HOT. The hottest one I've been in. Comparable to a hot spring. Food is pricey everywhere but they have a selection of restaurants in the town. The vegan restraunt (the green salmon) was the best vegan I've ever had. If they didn't tell you it was vega you wouldn't know. 10 min drive from a bunch of trails that connect the devil's churn, cooks chasm, thors well, and Cape Perpetua. The restraunts are also walkable close to the resort. We saw several people walking back from the restaurants/town to the resort. We paid extra for an ocean view and a Jacuzzi tub. The tub was roomey and you can sit in the tub while you watch the ocean. The jets where weak but sitting in the tub after a long day and listening to the ocean was amazing. The linens were clean the room/hotel is a bit dated on carpeting but it was still clean and spongie soft. We plan on staying again next year or maybe sooner. Lastly the map is a bit confusing you have to use an elevator to get to any rooms on the 3rd floor and they don't connect like 1st and 2nd floor. They also have a decent gym. "
"The Silver Surf Motel was a great stay for us during our Oregon coast road trip. The location on the beach was beautiful and we were able to walk the beach and watch sunset. The room had a kitchenette and was very clean. The only issue we had was some hot water shortages during our stay. Regardless of that we loved our stay and would visit again! "
"The front desk staff were amazing. The night time front desk woman was more than helpful! She gave us great ideas for dinner and also gave us ideas of other things to see while we were there. The hotel was perfect for our kids, who loved the pool. We will definitely be back. "
