"We would definitely stay here again! The property was clean and nicely updated. Even though it is in a 4 unit building we never heard our neighbors unless we were all on the outside patio at the same time. The views and access to the beach were incredible! If it is not foggy, the sunset is spectacular and we watched gray whales right off the beach. The location is just minutes from Yachats or Waldport, which both have amenities like restaurants and grocery stores. It was not a chore to run out and grab something if needed. And it's only about 20 minutes from Newport, which has a Walmart, etc.Check in and check out were extremely easy and management was responsive. There were plenty of towels and blankets and pillows and plenty of clean dishes and kitchen necessities. It was comfortable and cozy inside. Even though the bedroom is fully enclosed, the fourth wall did not reach the ceiling, so sound wise, you could hear everything in the living room and vice versa as if you were not in another room. We loved our stay."
"The Sanderling Sea Cottages were perfectly situated right on the beach, ideally located between Yachats and Waldport. When we arrived, the cottage was spotless and beautifully maintained. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and the master bedroom offered a stunning, unobstructed view of the ocean.We loved cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, which also looked out over the water. One of the highlights of our stay was watching whales breach from our balcony—an unforgettable experience. The beach was nearly empty, giving our dogs plenty of space to run and play in the waves.Also, the foosball coffee table was a great touch that my daughters both enjoyed! Thank you for an incredible week—we can’t wait to come back!"

"Great location, cozy accomodation, everything but the food for dining in. The BBQ is basically a camp stove and should be upgraded to meet expectations. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay. We had the beach all to ourselves. Lovely."

"Beautiful home, well appointed, with relaxing vibes! Our family of 9 had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors or relax inside. Loved the view, bedrooms, back deck, and kitchen. Hot tub was enjoyed, fire pit looked great, we just didn’t get a chance to use it. Negatives- although there are plenty of fees with vacation rentals, this one doesn’t have a cleaning fee, so the downside is having to do a pretty long list of chores at the end of your vacation- not our favorite thing to do, we’d rather a cleaning fee so we could relax to the last moment! It was a beautiful home and we’re sure you’d enjoy your time there!"
"2nd stay at this lovely beach front property! 2 minute walk to miles of open beaches. Well stocked kitchen, coded entry, laundry machines in unit, and 2 full bathrooms. Plenty of space to spread out or feel cozy. Tips: bed linens are microfiber and slide off mattress easily (easy fix - I brought my own cotton sheets!)*Kitchen needs a pasta strainer! Otherwise, I found everything I needed to cook.We’ll be back!"
"This was a great place - very clean and just a few steps to the beach! The only negatives I would give were that there wasn't any conditioner in the bathroom. Just a 3-in-1 (shampoo, body wash, bubble bath) product. Long hair needs conditioner especially with the salt air and wind! And there wasn't a wine opener in the kitchen. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay! "

"This is a lovely property in a great location. The decor is beachy and bright with outstanding views of the ocean from both floors. My husband and I enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and spent much of our time on the deck just gazing at the waves. The master bedroom was comfortable and quiet. Loved the jetted tub in the master bath with the huge window from which you could watch the ocean while bathing! Only concern that might bother others was the noise from the road. It wasn’t an issue for us but could be for some. Overall, we’d stay here again."

"This is our second time staying at this oceanside home. The location is perfect for us—steps away from a quiet beach, yet a few minutes easy drive to the Green Salmon coffee/tea house and many other restaurants, stores and shops, not to mention all the trails and parks to explore. With 2 bedrooms, both with adjoining bathrooms, we were more than comfortable after an evening of stargazing from the hot tub. We look forward to our next visit!"
"Property very nice, wonderful views. Wish I had known it was upstairs. My husband and I are elderly and had a hard time with the stairs. Also no decent frying pan for eggs. One metal one that was not suitable for frying eggs. Also the toilet was so low we needed to use the window sill to pull ourselves up. A chair height toilet would have been nice. The bedroom is open at the top to the kitchen and living room so noise from the TV comes in even with the door shut. Also the bedroom is in the front so noise from traffic starts at 6am. The cottage would be perfect for a young couple."
"Great views and great space! Plenty of room! This place has the best beach! Our family had a place next door for many years, so it felt like home walking the same beach. We found ourselves staying in for meals more than we typically do because we liked being able to stay inside with the views. It was really stormy when we were there. We only had one of six days that were sunny all day, but always waited for breaks in the weather to walk the beach.The kitchen had everything we needed as far as pans and utensils etc. Bring spices etc, if you want more than the basics. There was a large container of pepper and olive oil, but no salt. Fine for us because we brought our own things. Just a suggestion for the next person. We do the same beach trip every year and plan to stay here next year! This unit has 17 stairs, which was fine for us. We are in our 50’s and the more steps we get the better. It may not be a good fit for all, but the views are definitely better from the higher units.I forgot to mention that it does back to 101, so there is traffic noise if the windows are open. Spending many years by this location, we are used to it and it does not bother us at all, the beach and views on the front side are the important thing. :)"
