"Wonderful,clean,& very quiet. ."

"I was quite surprised with all the hype about the Allred because it just seemed like every other room at every other hotel in Newport. I have been coming to Newport for years and this is a very old hotel that was purchased, the old part remodeled and a new addition added to the old part. My room was supposed to be a superior king with a fireplace and an ocean view. This is the top bracket other than the two-bedroom suites, and it fell short to say the least. It was on the first floor so mainly what I saw were the tops of the cars parked across the street. The front desk person when I checked in could not speak English very well. Then after around 8 p.m. good luck finding anyone for anything. I usually stay at Little Creek Cove Resort and that is defiantly where I will go on my next visit where a suite is really a suite."

"Would not stay there again. Restaurant closed/pool closed/hot tub closed. No toilet seat in bathroom. Moved rooms. Room smelled musty, hair in bathtub. No remote control. Bed was comfortable. Expensive for the price ."

"This was an acceptable, no frills accommodation. Other than checking in, I never saw any staff during my four-day stay. The room came with ear plugs, which can be necessary, as the walls are paper-thin and you can hear everything happening in the other rooms. The biggest deficiency of the rooms was the lack of any type of desk or table in order to deal with any type of work. All in all, acceptable, but nothing great. At the same time, there are not many options in Waldport."

"Beautiful townhouse with a view in some rooms. Kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms were beautiful and beds very comfortable. Like the fact heat or cool was controlled separately. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub but looked nice. It has a lot of stairs with the 2 levels but we managed fine. Great place can’t wait to stay again!"
