“Very comfy place with an exceptional manager”

Angels Inn is a very decent, comfy hotel with a exceptionally friendly and service-oriented manager. She is very focused on customer service and their needs. The rooms are very clean and spacious and well maintained. She even served muffins and orange juice early in the morning, just to make our stay more comfortable. She is exceptional in her service and attitude. She does everything to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. She also acts as a concierge, providing you information about the history of the hotel as well as the town. I will definitely go back to this cozy place.

“Angels Inn, CA”

We enjoyed our stay at the Angels Inn Motel. Clean, quiet place. It was our first attempt to ski in Bear Valley. Driving from the hotel took a bit over an hour. That was the only draw back for us.

Large. clean room, good bed and at a good price. Very friendly staff.

“Pleasant Surprise”

We chose this hotel because everything closer to Bear Valley Ski area was booked up for the first night of a holiday weekend. We expected a basic place to sleep but ended up so pleased with this hotel that we wish we had booked the rest of our weekend there. The rooms were large with refrigerator, microwave, and all the basics. The lobby had a cookie jar and the service was very friendly. The hotel was actually booked up when we got there, and the lady at the counter was helping others call around to find a different hotel with vacancies. Very helpful, friendly service, and a great value. Even the location was convenient, and central for a longer trip to Yosemite, Bear Valley, Big Trees State Park, some of the area's caverns, etc.

“good location, good price”

I saw that this motel received all good reviews on Expedia, except for one person who thought the beds were too firm. I agree with the bed issue. However, in total, we were very impressed with this establishment. It was very quiet and gave us a spacious room. My husband was not pleased with the remote control for the TV, which only had arrows for changing channels. So if your life is controlled by the quality of your TV remote, stay somewhere else! Otherwise I strongly recommend the Angels Inn.

“Peaceful stay”

Rooms in the back look onto a nice green hill, with lots of birds singing;very peaceful! Very friendly and enthusiastic staff.

“Quiet and Clean, but needs some tune ups”

The television and A/C didn't work very well in our room. The place was quiet and the staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel did lack any sort of silverware / plastic ware, which was odd since it does include a fridge and microwave in each room. We enjoyed our time in Murphys. The room was clean and comfortable. Hopefully the A/C will be working by summertime!

“A lttle dated”

The Angels Inn has seen better days. The motel itself was relatively quiet as we were lucky to get one of the rooms facing the back , not the street. The room was ok, a little dated, but the area it was in was not conducive to walking with broken glass from the thrift store next door, no coffee shop close by and out of the downtown area. The bed was very hard, and I generally like hard mattresses, but this was too hard, and the tv was very small with poor color and reception. Next time, we will stay more in the town core.
