"Excellent location for exploring Brussels, 2min walk from the train station. Staff helpful and polite. We wanted to check in early, they were going to charge €35 unless we signed up to Novotel, which was very easy to do. Room good size and clean, however the pillows were awful. Very firm and lumpy. The rituals toiletries were nice. Had to ask for English tea bags as they only had fruit teas in the room, paper cups and no teaspoons for stirring drinks, which seems daft. Other than those few...

I have been a regular over the past 15 years, and it is pleasing to see how the decor and facility has evolved, so it still looks and feels fresh and contemporary. My only issue this time was the attitude of the dining staff during breakfast... I, and other residents, believe the hotel should make it clear to residents in advance that serving times on a national holiday are not the same as a weekend. This would help avoid confusion on the day."
