“A great location to access the Beartooth Mountains and surrounding Shoshone National Forest. Loved the yurt, very cozy and comfortable. A great place to return to each day after a beautiful hike to the high mountain lakes on the Beartooth Plateau. Nan and Brian were very friendly and super helpful with information about the area. “The cabin was nice. It has a kitchenette, so preparing meals was convenient. Cooke City is a very small town, with no cell service, and limited eateries and supplies. So we brought all of our food, including meals that we premade, and just heated up. We came to watch the wildlife in the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park, and Cooke City is minutes away from the East end of the park. Which is a big plus.
