"The house was charming and quirky and filled with character. We all fell in love with it! The bedrooms were spacious and the living space was great. We loved that the dining table had room for all 8 of us. The grounds were beautiful and the kids loved catching fish, roasting marshmallows and playing on the swing. The location was so convenient but away from the crowds. The host responded to our questions and needs promptly. We had a great stay!"

"Beautiful home with great outdoor space. There is only one full bathroom which is inconvenient at times but the half bath on first floor is appreciated."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful and peaceful farm with lots of space to roam and beautiful scenery. Add in the beautiful horses and birds. It was a wonderful experience for all ages. The property is also located. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping , so it was just amazing."

"Enjoyed our trip with our doggo. The downstairs rental had surprisingly large bedrooms and a very large bathroom, which was nice where we had little ones running around. It's a historic building so if you like the vintage charm and quirks, it's great and a great value. If you're accustomed to more polished accommodations, this may not be for you. the yard is huge and my kids had fun playing in the snow. Also, there are goats next door. Did I mention the goats?"

"I traveled and stayed for the weekend with 6 adults. If you have kids, this would be fine as we stayed in a premiere cabin. The bunk bed were tight for us. The sleeper sofa was uncomfortable with the bar in your back and the main bed was ok. The place was clean and the shower had a good amount of hot water. The TV couldn’t get a signal to work. The place overall needs some TLC, but it was overall just ok. "

"I've been driving by The Shoe for over 40 years and finally took the opportunity to spend a weekend there with life-long friends. It.Was.Fantastic!!!! It's cozy, cool, creative, and full of history! We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave!
