"We enjoyed this property and the hospitality of the front office. We enjoyed an outdoor entrance and easy access to the beach. Places to sit outside at the property too and easy walking to rent bikes, eat,etc. "

"We needed an assessable room and reserved one. We would like to give you some ideas for people who need assessable living space. 1. We need a firm bed. Our bed was way too soft. We need to be able to push off of the bed to transfer to a wheelchair. 2. We need a shower that we can use as well as our caregiver. The shower head needs to be on a slide as well as to be able to hand hold. 3. We need Handicap parking with a ramp. I have this hotel 5 stars because they tried. There was no handicap parking. We had to do a step up get on the sidewalk. It’s not too high but high enough to make it a problem for wheelchair use. Yes, it could be better. But you guys put some thought into it and tried to accommodate people who needed assessable living. Associates were very helpful and professional. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Both of my recent stays were wonderful. I have recommended the Westin Sarasota to friends & family and will definitely return. The roof top was under staffed. I did notice bartenders & servers ignoring people wanting to be served. I personally had a nice server who was overwhelmed and eventually forgot about me by the pool for 90 minutes. I had to track him down to pay my tab. But those are training & staffing issues. He was very nice."

"Non of the drains worked properly, they were plugged, also some baby roaches on my room, they need to call an specialist, a guy was fumigating in the common areas but is not enough, they need experts. Other than that was clean and quiet, nice staff "
