Nice place
Very nice hotel with nice staff. Food is good, the pool is amazing. Near to Carthage ruins and there were always taxis waiting. Internet was only available in the hotel lobby and was slow and some days it was not available. If you must have internet, dont bank on this hotel.

Not impressed
I am very disappointed. Considering that is a 5* hotel I noticed that: - Poor breakfast was served. Moreover, the "natural orange juice" prepared in front of the customers was actually made from concentrated orange juice mixed in a blender with few real oranges. I noticed that one day I arrived a bit earlier to the breakfast and I saw lots of hidden Orange juice boxes and the preparation ; - It is a beach resort that has one of its restaurants connected to the swimming pool. However, it is not allowed to get into the restaurant wearing Bermuda shorts (during my stay the average temperature in town was around 35 C). - At check out time, the hotel charged me for room services I never used. So I waited 10 min until in the front desk waiting for the receipt proving I used the service. But they never found those receipts and gave up (at least I did not have to pay for it) In my room: - The balcony door was stuck. Every time I wanted to open it I had to pull it up and quick it to open. - I stayed there during one week in the same room and the little bottles of shampoo were never replaced - The curtains never closed properly so I used to wake up with the sun rise

Not impressed - front desk very disorganized.
Check in took 45 minutes. Checked in on Friday, phone did not work, did not work when I checked out on Sunday either. Problem with laundry service, and stopper in the bath tub. Queen bed is 2 twins pushed together. Worst problem was the service at the Spa. One of the main reasons I picked the hotel. Paid 100TD for 75 min facial, received a terrible 30 min facial and they would not refund any of my money.
Traveler's tip
If a shop owner asks if you would like some tea take the time to sit, sip some mint tea, maybe share a sheesha. Definitely spend at least one night in the night in the Sahara. Women traveling alone, the men can get annoying, have fun with their comments and dont let it get to you.
