Good hotel, comfortable

The bed was comfortable. This hotel is really near a small airport but there is no air traffic at night, so it is very quiet there at night. Lots of places to eat just down the road. You need to drive to get there though. Pretty good hotel. Worth the money.

a little noise

This hotel is located near an airport. I did hear a planes take off or land 3 or 4 times. The noise was not unbearable, nor was it frequent. The planes did not shake the hotel. The desk help was helpful and the breakfast was better than expected.

Just OK

Hotel was actually at a small airport. Noise was not a big issue and watching the small planes was sort of cool. If you don’t have a car - there is nothing in walking distance. But, there is lots of stuff in about a five minute drive & the freeway is fairly close. The hotel restaurants are closed down. Pool is not really indoors - it is enclosed by glass doors and it is not heated. Switched rooms a few times because of shower & TV problems. The staff was very nice & helpful. Breakfast was pretty good.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Don’t stay here if you don’t have a car, but pretty good for the price and easy enough to get to downtown or shopping and restaurants if you do have a car.

Pool was so cold

I have stayed at this hotel before and gave it very high ratings. This time, I was not so impressed. I mainly chose this hotel because of the pool. However, the pool was so cold it could not be used. After mentioning this to the front desk three days in a row, and being told the pool temperature would be adjusted....I finally gave up. This hotel is fine if you are not interested in using the pool.

Quiet, Clean place to lay your head.

Upon arrival and stay this hotel was by far the best. A good escape from the heavy traffic, and hustle and bustle of the city streets. Every room that we stayed in was clean and fully stocked. The bed left something to desire,, I think the word is comfort. They felt like a board. The sidewalks in the rear parking area were very slick, and covered in algae which made them slick when water was present(every morning). The breakfast area always had cereal, but for the majority of the time the milk was out. The juices and coffee would always need re-filled. I would go out for breakfast with my children most mornings, or keep milk in our room in a cooler.

Bring a cooler, and stock it with the important things for kids(Milk, juice, and instant coffee and sugar for yourself). I hope is not too far from there, and has a really nice view of the mountains for family pictures Plus if your the on Saturday mornings there is a balloon person there for the kiddos’.

A clean and comfortable, great value hotel

We were stuck at Centennial Airport due to weather. The convenience of the Hotel Gold Crown was far superior to any other hotels in the area in that we could walk to and from the airport. It’s a great value as well as being clean and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was a bit sparse, but, it is free!

Traveler's tip on dining

Don’t miss The Perfect Landing, a restaurant at Centennial Airport. Tuesdays through Thursdays they have great tasting specials for a really great price. Also, the view is wonderful.

Denver’s best kept secret

I and my family were very impressed with this hotel. The staff was exceptional and the room was just what we wanted. We stayed in the Queen Suite w/ two rooms, there was 5 of us including 2 under the age of 5, and there was plenty of room for the kids to move around. Our teenager enjoyed having his own space at night since the rooms were seperated by a door. It is a little off the beaten path but the town is very nice and it was only about a 20 min drive to the zoo, aquarium and city park. I hope to have a reason to go back again soon.

When coming and going from the hotel we never once got stuck in rush hour traffic, it always seemed to be on the opposite side of the road and we traveled at busy times ie: 7:30am & 5:00pm. When you have anxious kids in the car this is a plus. Also the hotel was in a quiet area where the kids could have some freedom of movement.

Nice hotel for the price

Checking in was super easy. All desk clerks were extremely friendly and helpful. Our only problem was our sink dripped all the time and maintenance tried to fix it and couldn’t. The breakfast place is my only complaint it left a lot to be desired. There was hot breakfast but the price of it was higher than a ususal breakfast. Also the breakfast buffet that was 4 dollars was a glorified continental breakfast with nothing hot on it at all. Other than that we loved the hotel and our stay there. We were there for a fastpitch tournament.

Nice

Our room was nice and clean. There was a "funky" smell in the downstairs/lobby area but our room smelled fine. The breakfast buffet was good but had minimal choices. It is literally right across the street from Centennial airport and we did hear quite a bit of air traffic. All in all though it was a nice, out of the way place to stay - away from the busy-ness of the Denver area.

Traveler's tip on dining

Lot’s of very good resturaunt’s within a short drive

AWESOME HOTEL

After spending all day flying we were greeted by a wonderful gentlemen at the front desk. We asked for a view - no problem. Our luggage did not arrive with us - no problem, they gave us toothpaste, toothbrush, deoderant and shaving supplies. The bed, pillows and room were very comfortable. $4.00 breakfast buffet with optional full service menu. All was clean and quiet. No noise from the airport. Great part of town - you will need a car. Pool, exercise room very clean and not crowded. If you are looking for the crowds like at Disney this is not the place for you. We loved it and hated to leave after our 9 days visit. Food, gas and shopping just a hop, skip and a jump away. We were shopping around to buy a home and the staff were extremely helpful in explaning the different areas. We would have been driving around lost if it werent for their guidance. Free wireless internet - very important to our visit. 2 computers and printers were also available in the lobby as a free service.

No activiies for kids other than the pool.

Very clean!

I was very, very pleased with this hotel, what a bargain! Although this hotel is not new, everything was well maintained and clean. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The only small downside is that it is located directly next to Centennial Airport, small planes take off and land and so there is a bit of noise at times, but it’s not a major airport and flights are infrequent. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. I’m still amazed at what a great deal this was!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Check out the light rail station just off of Arapahoe and I-25, it will take you downtown to see the Rockies play so you don’t have to fight traffic and find a parking spot. Love the light rail.

Very Nice, Comfortable

This is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms. I only have one thing that bothered me...I did not use the pool because there were several people who were there having a party and drinking beer. Everything else was great. I would stay there again.

Good Place to Sleep and Recharge

I wanted a place to stay after flying all day and this was just fine. Clean, comfortable, super friendly staff. Had an exercise room and pool. Stip malls with supermarkets and the usual types of stores are nearby (car recommended, but if you don’t mind walking a bit, it could be done). It was not a problem for me, but 2 or 3 jets took off in the middle of the night. If you don’t like that noise, bring earplugs.

good value

nice hotel, good value, quiet location. would have rated it higher, but there were some issues with room key-cards malfunctioning and loss of hot water, both related to a computer problem. we would definitely stay here again.

Denver DTC Area

Comfortable, a bit out of the way from where my meetings were but not bad. Hard to rate when all you do is get in late, try to sleep and then leave before breakfast for the flight home.
