“The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. “We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again”

“I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. Thanks so much guys i know it trueky meant the world to my mum. ”

“I’m so disappointed with this arrived and it was not even close to what I was expecting from the booking. Not to mention that I had to wait outside for nearly an hour and a half as someone else had taken my room and I had not been given any information on how to enter the property keys, et cetera. Once I finally got hold of The guy in charge, he was not very pleasant to deal with or very welcoming. Due to the issues leading up to this point, I ended up booking somewhere else as just did not……
