“Great view of the beach from our room but surprised that our room was not ensuite. Instead we had to go outside our room, down some stairs and up some more stairs to find our private toilet and private shower room next to it. Not very convenient in the middle of the night in hot weather when sleeping naked! Room was clean but basic and dated. Breakfast was very good but to be expected to be seated between 8am - 8.30am and pre-order what you wanted the day before or go without is harsh and……

“Wonderful room, fantastic view. Close to all amenities. Friendly host. Just one niggle. We decided we would like the fish fish for breakfast during our stay. After we ordered we were told that there was a £4 each surcharge for the fish. That was OK, but there was no mention of this on the menu or anywhere in the details of the guest house. Maybe it should be added to the breakfast menu. Overall we had a wonderful stay, and will go back.”

“The cabin is in an ideal location and the area is very quite which is lovely, the cabin itself is a lovely size for 2 people but would be very cramped if you had 4 people in there. The double bed was very comfortable but needs new bedding as this was very bobbly. The sofa/sofa bed is horrible, you cannot sit and relax properly. The TV does not work, the shower only holds enough hot water for one person. Take your own towels and the flush broke in the middle of the night which we had to use bowls……

“Arrived at the property and it has closed for business leaving us stranded at the height of summer when everything is booked up. We are hours from home on a road trip.Taken our money months ago and no word from the owners, still listed online and still taking bookings. Landlord at a local pub told us tbey had gone bust. Shocking behaviour!! Beware of booking here, need to take it from your website! Doing a chargeback with credit card.”
