“Patrick and Debi were amazing hosts.The property is very clean and well kept.They were very accommodating and personable and the grounds were very peaceful and quiet.Breakfast was delicious and we will always choose Shane Acres over any hotel when we need a place to stay in the Madison area. “Booked a double queen room, when we got there they only had a single king available. When we got to the room and pulled out the pullout couch there was no mattress. I went to the front desk and was told there aren’t mattresses on the pullouts and was given a pillow and a blanket for my daughter to sleep on. Needless to say we all slept in the king. Why would I pay for a double queen room for 3 of us to share a bed. Highly unsatisfied.”

“Nreakfast seemed fresh, fruit was good quality, and ripe. Nothing was out of order anf everything was clean. Red velvet waffles were a welcome surprise. The whole hotel was very clean and the rooms were as comfortablr as one cluld ask for even with the lowest tier room we got. Cleanliness was the main selling point for this hotel, but the quiet atmosphere made ot quite a relaxing stay breif as it was for us.”

“Our room was really dirty. The floor was not vacuumed. The mirror was dirty. There was no stopper for the bathtub and no toilet paper and dirty towels with blood or some kind of stain on it. Some of the accommodations they give you for the coffee was used by prior. Customers were never discarded by housekeeping and was just left in the same place. They display them in the bathroom had toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet, but the toilet wasn’t cleaned. The water pressure was very bad and we had no……

“The back deck of the house looking over the lake was very peaceful and beautiful. The house was open and spacious with plenty of room in the kitchen to cook and a table for the family to eat at and play games. The steps from the parking area down to the house were challenging. There are a lot of steps and they are a little uneven. The steps inside to the walkout basement are even more challenging. The game room was disappointing. It was stuffy, musty, and damp. We did not utilize that area. I……
