"Quaint hotel "
This was a college campus visits trip for daughter & mom. Perfect for our needs with a microwave, refrigerator, comfortable bed & roomy bathroom. Room is not spacious but enough for our need of a place overnight. Loved the area with its boutiques & restaurants, the proximity to Seattle center, Seattle Pacific University & downtown. Loved the beautiful scenic view atop the roof! We had a car & parked in secured garage below hotel for fee of &18. Hotel is on bus line.

"Good choice to be near the important sites."
Our hotel was clean. It had a nice comfortable bed. It was a good size. The breakfast buffet was not so good at 8:00 AM. The food had been setting a bit long to taste fresh.Dinner food was pretty good. We had a clean room but housekeeping was not on the ball about keeping the necessities in the room. We ran out of shampoo, body wash and Kleenex the 2nd night. We had to call down to the desk and waited an hour before someone came with what was needed to take a shower. Our room was on the 3rd floor. At 3:30 AM a garbage truck came into the ally below our room.It was very noisy. At 6:00 Am the kitchen staff came into the ally below us an talked real loud for about 20 minutes. All the staff that we had contact with were all helpful and nice including housekeeping. The location is great for seeing the sites around town. It's a 5 minute walk to the space needle, chihuly garden and glass, the monorail and much more. The carpet was pretty stained, but it's old so not really a big problem to me.If it weren't for the carpet I would give room cleaniness a 5 because the rest of the room was well maintained.

For the price, I thought it would of been nicer. The bathroom was small. It was pouring rain, It would of been nice to see umbrellas we could of used in the other hotels do. Parking overnight as a guest was pricey.

Nice comfy hotel, felt like a master bedroom rather than a hotel room. Great in room and lobby coffee and tea service very tasty neat modern motif, only thing which is not too much of a problem was that we smelled smokey In our room all night. Probably from people smoking by their windows and drifting up to us maybe.

"Convenient location Marqueen Hotel"
Converted historic building was comfortable and suites were large. The benches in the kitchen at the dining table were very hard and narrow. It was difficult to get into and out of with the closeness of the table. The sitting area was great and would be greater if a TV was in that area. A safety bar attached to the bathing area would have been a huge help for us as we are both over 60 and needed something to grab onto while showering, getting in and out of the tub. The staff were all very kind and helpful and is was a good place to stay. The close proximity of the Monorail to get to the downtown area helped and was only $2.25 per trip. Overall I rate this a 4.5 star hotel and very happy with the choice we made. The complimentary continental breakfast was very tasty and always fresh Dave Room 108 Sept 24 to Oct 7, 205
