"Stayed for three nights visiting Drupa. Room is very small but superbly laid out making it feel better than a much larger room. Plenty of power, lighting choices and everything sparkled. Wifi not great, lots of street noise all day and all night. Bring ear plugs. Buffet super continental with a view of station and cathedral. Doesn’t get any better. Staff lovely and helpful. Genuinely enjoyed my stay - and for the price worth every penny. Thank you!"

"Check in was easy, room was ready early! Room was large size, bathroom too. Bed was comfortable. Shower was small and shower-head was not working well, would not stay in place. blow dryer stopped after a few minutes. Room was quiet at night. There is no A/C in the room, but had large windows - you can open Breakfast was included and very good. Location is next to Cathedral and Train Station - very short walk. You can see Cathedral! Overall - good stay."

"Very pleased with my stay! The price was such a steal. You may not get all of the fancy amenities of a 4 or 5 star hotel, but it has everything you could need and felt safe and clean! A bonus was that the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Spoke very good english. Also offered a welcome shot upon arrival for Carnival!"

"Highly recommend for anyone who has a loved one staying at the ATOS Orthoparc Klinik. Essential by Dorint Köln is a 7 minute WALK to the hospital. This made daily visits possible as the commute from where we live would be an hour each way. The staff were friendly and helpful (provided a loaner power strip when we realized one was needed to charge the laptop). The rooms were comfortable, business style, with a good wall mounted TV. "The room was airy, quiet and well stocked with scrupulously clean linen and even the small kitchen was very well suppied with cooking essentials. Bathroom fine, and the shower provided ample flow hot water. Breakfast was simple but a good range of breads, cereals and juices. More than adequate and far better than other similar hotels."

We tried messaging the reception's number but the reception does not have WhatsApp so we could only contact them through the Expedia messaging system. Receptionist arrived 5-minutes later."
