“No cold water in the bathroom sink 1st night. Thought breakfast was included. Apparently was not. It was about $15. Ridiculous. Overused lumpy pillows. Ripped curtains. Not impressed.”

“Someone else always using the grill area. Night worker was friendly but overpriced for lack of amenities. AC also had issues. And cleaning staff seemed put out that I left a day early (which I was still charged the full stay) because they had to really clean the room and not just change towels and trash. Also parking lot is atrocious.”

“I love that this hotel was close to Dave and Busters and Top Golf. The pantry downstairs was the best! After a night out those Ice cream sandwiches hit the spot. The only thing I didn't like was that the bar was not open.”

“I was so excited to the visit carriage house hotel , but I would AVOID AT ALL COST. Their rooms are disgusting. My babies were just crawling around for 30 minutes and were covered in black from how gross the carpets were. We went down to tell the front and all they did was give us the email for the manager and let us know that the carpets were recently “professionally cleaned.” The pool is not in the same area as hotel and closes super early. None of the hotel restaurants are opened Sunday or……

“We always stay at this hotel when we go to Lafayette, but we did not have a good experience this time. We arrived early and we were able to check in so that was nice. The pool was closed so that was disappointing, but it opened the next day. When the pool did open, the water was extremely cloudy with a film. We were really disappointed because we stayed 4th of July weekend and the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The lay out chairs need to be replaced, one was dry rotted and……

“Housekeeping was awful. Had to clean my own room after asking for it to be vacuumed and the linens changed. Other than that it's a good place.”

“Beautiful house and setting. We loved the garden and the outside seating. The breakfast was traditional Louisiana with all guests seated together ‘a la famille’ We stayed in the Victorian room which was spacious and well equipped.”

“Staff upon arrival was not the friendliest, was more worried about being on her cell phone rather than helping guests. Hot tub was not "hot". Overall we love the hotel, not our first visit & not our last.”
