“We came in to town for a wedding. The place was extremely clean and the quality of the space was better than the listing pictures. It was near a good variety of restaurants and things to do. The only down side was that downtown Lafayette can be loud at night. If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the spot for you. If you enjoy being close to night life, this is the perfect stay for you!”

“Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!”

The venue itself has so much to offer as it has spacious rooms, a tranquil atmosphere, easy access to restaurants and an onsite store. There are so many things that can be done while at the location. The owner was easy to contact and we had no issues our entire stay. I highly recommend staying at Maison Freetown and will be back in the near future.”

“I cant speak for other rooms but I was incredibly surprised by the quality of our room(especially for what we payed). The room was clean, air was working, bathroom was clean, Obi at the front desk was incredible, the check-in/check-out process as seamless, and they asked if we preferred 1st or 2nd floor which was nice. Yes breakfast was lacking but they still had waffles and muffins and cereal. My only complaint would be the house keeping. When we left for the day on Saturday, we put our Do not……
