“The room was terrible with a smashed bathroom basin, so I asked for another room.
The 2nd room had a smelly damp, mouldy bathroom.
There were no common areas. The bar/restaurant areas were kept closed/locked.
Reception staff were not at the hotel full time. Only sporadically during the day.”

“Plenty of room for parking, breakfast was fantastic. Pauline was a lovely lady and very helpfull. We had a free standing mirror on a shelf in the bathroom which was quite heavy. I think it should be secured better as could be easily disturbed by a young child which could be quite dangerous. Would definitely go back again.”

“A really incredible breakfast spread and free parking close to the centre of the village.
We had a spacious room but as a light sleeper, next time I would ask for a room at the back, as there was a lot of traffic pre-5am.”

“It was perfect for our stay. Firstly, it was only 5 minutes walk from Harlech Railway station, which was great as we came by train (the ride in along the coast is gorgeous by the way). It is also very convenient for the amazing beach, the wonderful castle & the bustling little town & shops. Our room was clean, quiet & a good size, with a lovely view of the castle. I had the best sleep I've had for a while. The staff were helpful & friendly & gave us good tips about the local area. Also, just...

“The food here is amazing and you can't beat the location for touring North Wales. Janna was the star of the place.
That said, the room needs serious maintenance. The mattress was completely shot—sagging with metal springs that poked into my body every time I moved.
For me, the most important part of a trip is to have a good night to sleep and it baffles me that this hotel has this Kind of mattresses. The pillars were OK though. The shower walls also had mold on them. On top of that, the room...
