"Parking not included, bad start. Dated room even though it was a premium room (a £17 upgrade), the beds were like actual bricks - so uncomfortable. Reception later informed me the only difference with the premium room is you get a coffee machine and a fridge. I couldnt believe what I was hearing, absolute CON... Breakfast selection was shocking and the eggs/hasbrowns etc were stone cold by half 9\. Plenty items finished and not replenished in the 30 mins we were there. The only good points were the pool and sauna facilities are decent and the receptionist on check in was lovely. Over 100 pounds spent though so absolutely no value for money."

"What should have been a special, long-overdue break turned into a complete disaster. My wife and I were evacuated in the middle of the night due to a gas leak—a genuinely frightening experience. We were abruptly forced out of the hotel with no proper reassurance or handling of the situation, which alone is unacceptable. We were offered “alternative accommodation,” but it did not have the same facilities or standard as what we had paid for. Given the circumstances and the time of night, we chose to make our own way home instead. This was our first time away since having our son, and the trip was completely ruined. To make matters worse, the hotel has refused any refund or compensation, despite the stay being cut short due to a serious safety issue entirely outside of our control. That response speaks volumes about how they treat their guests when something goes wrong. Safety concerns, a ruined stay, and zero accountability. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value basic duty of care and customer service."
