The room was too warm to sleep comfortably, and opening the window caused a lot of noise from the road. Unfortunately, this negatively affected our stay. The breakfast was pretty basic. As for our room, the bed was comfy but the pillows were foldable so heads up on that for those who cant sleep on flat pillows. When getting our rooms cleaned we noticed the cleaners never really vacumed the floors and didnt top up on the toiletries when we ran out of some that we had to call the receptionist who kindly came over to hand these over to us. Overall the staff were warm and friendly and very helpful with all queries that we had. I would highly recommended this hotel if your someome who's visiting Köln for the first time." Parking was easy enough (multi story car park right after the hotel) and you can enter the hotel directly from the car park too. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. 2 changes would make this 5 stars: 1\. Beds were not that comfy (the ones in Dover were better) 2\. Breakfast was very basic (bacon, powdered scrambled egg, sausages, beans). Needed hash browns/rostis plus no pancakes or waffles which we had at other hotels. Overall a pleasant experience." Really enjoyed our stay despite a couple of downsides: We needed a bed for a teenager, despite impressions from our booking that it might be a proper bed, it was a cot that was rolled in. incredibly long time to get hot water in bathroom, very wasteful. With all the restaurants in the hotel, it would be nice if there were a place just to get coffee in the AM.
