“I feel bad giving this review as it seems like a family is trying to run this place and they were very nice but in way over their heads. Our room smelled terrible including the bathroom smelling like urine. The owner was very accommodating and switched rooms. The place had a dank smell, areas smelled like cigarettes, and hallways needed to be vacuumed. “This is a run down old motel with a lot of deferred maintenance. There appears to be no effort made to remodel, update freshen up or improve the property. The room smelled very stale. Worn, dirty carpet. Dark. Minimal lighting. Small rooms. Needs paint. Owner/manager lives on premise. Can't or won't communicate. Don't know if he speaks English. After viewing the room, I forfeited my non-refundable 1 night rent and stayed elsewhere. I can't believe Expedia includes this motel on their listings.”
