“We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful property in north Wales. We were blown away by the space and the charm of the house -perfect for our group. The living areas were spacious enough for everyone to relax together and the kitchen had everything we needed for home -cooked meals. The location was very ideal, peaceful and private ,with Georges countryside views, yet close to local attractions and walks. It really felt like a home away from home and the hosts were friendly and helpful……

“Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife.
Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge.
Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. Could do with a proper electric one to be honest. Bathroom bin not emptied from previous occupier.
No wifi and phone signal not great. Not always a……

“The house is AMAZING!! We had everything we needed,and the house is just BEAUTIFUL. The views from all rooms are breathtaking, we were all blown away with Glencoe. Watching dolphins,whilst having breakfast was fabulous. Would definitely love to return,Thankyou,it really is a special place.♥️”

“Great property, great location, great seaside town. The property was lovely but it was missing just a few basics to make it really superb. Some bin bags, some dishwasher tablets would have made everything so much easier?! Fab weekend nevertheless x”

“Came with my husband, parents, and sister and her husband, small dog and 2 children. The property gave us ample space to enjoy time together and relax apart. It was clean and inviting when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the showers had good pressure. We enjoyed some beautiful walks from the property, with views over Barmouth. This was a great base for our family trip to North Wales. 😊”

“We stayed on December with snowy days, Magical. Wonderful site great help from the owners. Pod is a one off and all you expect. We took advantage of the fire and hot shower. Hot tub has a stunning view as well as beautiful surrounding areas.
Great pubs and restaurants nearby well worth a few days for our honeymoon”

“Lovely week in this house. We were 3 families. Made use of the 2 car park passes and were able to park the other car in the road alongside the car park. We spent most of our time in the kitchen/dining room which is a nice communal area. Showers were really powerful. Location is great for train station and walking down to the main area. Recommend the Indian restaurant and Dovey Inn.”

“I loved my time at the yurt, it was such a peaceful and restorative environment! Louise and Anthony were amazing hosts, very responsive with communication and made me feel welcome and comfortable. The beautiful scenery and lovely walks were just what I needed, and Bow Street was a great home-base for me as I did not need a car and could walk to the village for groceries and take the bus or train to surrounding areas. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Haus und Grundstück sind sehr groß, der Meerblick ist herrlich. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, als wir ankamen, wartet ein Willkommenspaket auf uns und für unsere Kinder gab es eine Extraüberraschung. Vom Haus aus kann man schöne Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren machen, teilweise sind die Strecken steil. Die Kommunikation mit Linda und Mark war super. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.”

"The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
