“Dear Sean & Brian and the whole team of the Alensgrove Cottages! It has been a most wonderful stay at your place. We loved the apartment and the surroundings and felt very safe. “It is a wonderful place to stay if you want to relax in the country and still be close to Dublin (less than a 1/2 hour away). You can walk to the surrounding towns to take in a good meal and some cold drinks and take in the local flare. The hosts are wonderful folks that genuinely care for the comfort of their guests. Since we didn’t have a car they took the time to drive me into town for some ice since there was none on the freezer. I ask who does this? Not many would. Thank you for 3 memorable……

“The reviews on this have been variable so it’s time to weigh in with my own. Bottom line - if you want a decent stay for a cost-effective price, DO consider this. If you’re looking for the Ritz, it’s probably wrong for you. This is normally student accommodation and so is way better than a hostel while not being a hotel.
