Comfortable hotel

I was travelling from Barcelona to Sauze d'Oulx, and Chambery was the stopover. The hotel is directly opposite the station, and a short walk to the bus stop for my morning connection. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. I had a great night's sleep!

Excellent hotel very close to the train station. Great breakfast with local products (cheese, charcuteries, bread, croissants, etc...). Rooms are clean, staff very helpful. Fell welcomed. Will surely book again this hotel.

Excellent place to stay, arrived at Chambéry train station and this hotel is directly opposite so very convenient. Enjoyed our hotel location without disturbances from passing trains. The hotel is central and has markets, shops, parks and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. We opted to eat in the local areas, however would try breakfast options next time and sure that too would be excellent. There’s a restaurant next to the hotel and car hire company’s that can be arranged conveniently if required. Lots of lakes or trekking options with stunning views in this area. Enjoyed a fantastic few days in this beautiful town and I’m sure to return again in the future. Happy to recommend this hotel and plan a trip again. Thanks to the team

Good station hotel

Great location across the road from the station and an east 5-10 minute walk into town. For the money a great hotel with a comfortable bed and good sized room. Staff were friendly. We ate at the restaurant as we struggled to get in anywhere in town without a booking on a Saturday night and the meal was very good. An ideal hotel if you're travelling to/from the train station and the price is good.

Rooms are great but the outside of the hotel and entrance from the parking to the hotel urgently needs some paint. Breakfast way too expensive and parking places are ridiculously small for any car bigger than a Smart. Hotel close to city center and the restaurant is quite good.

Hotel has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and is conveniently located with respect to the train station and the centre of Chambéry. The underground parking has a charging station for electric vehicles, which is free of charge. Only negative point: underground parking can be quite a challenge for larger cars.

I ask for quiet room. And my room give view on noisy street with kebab restaurant open very late. The Aircon was not in function. So not possible close window otherwise too hot in room. So I can not sleep all the night

Noisy room but not because of the street noise. Our room doors (there were 2 doors) were vibrating every time another client from the same level was entering or going out from this room. During all the 6 nights it was impossible to sleep before midnight and after 7h-7h30 when the cleaning lady was starting her work and was opening the window from the hall.

property is old need proper attention. First night we were put in a room on unfinished floor. the hallway ceiling is being replaced and just covered with plastic sheet. airconditioning is non existing. when we came back after going to Grenoble, we were put in a room that smells like disinfectant and the bathroom lights are not working. It was late in the afternoon and the reception clerk was apologetic, that their maintenance is no longer available. she offered us a free drink in the bar ( we refused ). at least she did what she can. much appreciated. on the positive, the staff are excellent and the property is opposite to train station.
