“A great heritage place to stay for a few days of exploring Alleppy, beaches and the backwaters, located across a local road by the massive beach. Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. Paid a bit more for a large traditional room with a large shared lounge and outside seating area next to the pool. Great restaurant and chef with a good menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner also serving alcohol. Guys in the restaurant very helpful...

“nuestro conductor se quedo atrapado en el barro de la entrada con el coche, pidio ayuda por telefono y los del hotel , dijeron que no habia personal para ayudarnos, era plena noche y llovia luego el manager con su sonrisa falsa lo nego todo, fue una mala experiencia. las sabanas tenian manchas y las toallas tambien , ademas de estar muy Viejas, luego nos cambiaron de habitacion porque nos quejamos, lo major de todo fue la visita en barco por las back waters un autentico espectaculo por lo que se...

“All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The other families we stayed in were also good. We had a fun backwater experience. The restaurant food was also very tasty.The room's also very cmfortable.”

“OMG what a wonderful trip/adventure. The boat cruised around the back waters for about 4 hours. First before we cruised they served us a wonderful lunch. Then while cruising we stopped at a fish market to buy us whatever we wanted to eat for dinner. I bought 6 giant prawns that they cooked up for me in addition to the other chicken dish we had for dinner. Delish!! Vacation time well spent.”

“Very relaxing and beautiful scenery. The rooms are very modern and clean. There was a total of 7 rooms on board, so it was good to mix and chat to the other guests. The crew on the houseboat were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Always willing and happy to help. Food was excellent, but keep in mind there is no alcohol, as seems to be case everywhere in Kerala. We will happily come back again.”
