"Beautiful hotel, staff cannot do enough for you and are all super friendly. Shuttle bus runs all day to the beach bar and restaurant that is included in the all inclusive. Spa treatment was amazing, Dimitri was wonderful. Food was good, we didn't tire of the buffet and never needed to eat anywhere else. I would book directly next time as the only issues we had were with Expedia not the hotel. "

"First, the positives; the house is lovely. The beds were comfortable and the location is great . However. the drone photo showing the pool is misleading as the house show in that is not the house you will be staying in. There is no view of the pool from the house and the view from the balcony is blocked by a disused restaurant that is attached to the house. Unfortunately our experience was let down by the rather casual attitude of the host. The lovely looking smart TV was not working. When we enquired he had a quick look, suggested we might have messed around with the cables then said he'd have to get in touch with his TV 'guy' who was holidaying in the UK. Despite a couple of reminders the problem was never resolved meaning we spend the week without the TV. Then, after four days the internet stopped working. As it was the weekend, we were told nothing could be done. Then on Monday the problem was solved (the host told us that it had been just a matter of paying a bill) for half an hour when it stopped working again. The host told us to try rebooting the system (he never offered to come round and help) which never worked and in the end (much as with the TV) we just gave up and resigned ourselves to seeing out the holiday with no wifi. We did try and take up the matter with the house's booking manager who explained the host is a very busy man and that things are difficult to solve in Greece! It's such a shame because with proper management this property could be fabulous."

"The house was really nice and well appointed and the garden was lovely with lemon orange and grapefruit trees The surrounding area was very pretty with rocky hills at the side. We could watch the sunrise from the main bedroom or sit outside on nice comfortable chairs on the terrace. Gioyla was available by phone if we needed anything and left us some milk bread butter etc which was useful as we arrived during the evening. The village had 3 tavernas and a mini market which was very handy This was truly a lovely property and we would not hesitate to visit again"

"Easy access to Gennadi by foot from the property for local shops, bars and restaurants. The property was clean and tidy with regular cleaning of villa, pool and garden. Attractive villa with plenty of shade, (especially relaxing on the veranda). The owner, Dimitri was very helpful on arrival, showing us around and explaining everything about the villa. (Would have preferred a washing machine instead of the dishwasher, although there is a launderette in the village!). Enjoyed a number of evenings at his restaurant where his staff were very friendly and welcoming. A great holiday."

"We had such a fantastic stay. The villa is huge and has everything you need. The pool Area is lovely and we spent many an evening around it whilst cooking on the fab BBQ. We had the beach across the way to ourselves just as described in the ad .. it’s was just lovely and George was the best host ever, so generous with gifts of fresh fish, fruit etc.. thank you . Gennadi is a 5 min drive and has everything you need. Really lovely bakery, supermarket, restaurants and bars. Such a wonderful stay and highly recommended."

"The Citrus House offers a great location if you prefer a quiet environment away from the resorts. It's also spacipus, comfortable amd well-equipped - just what we needed after 10 days of fairly intense travelling (which is always wonderful, but exhausting!). We hired a car at superb rates from a provider recommended by the owner and found it very easy to explore the island from the base im Kalavarda. Comms was also exceptional. "

"Everything was excellent starting form the property mgr Teta; The location is not on the most attractive side of the island but the property is literally by the sea; Kitchen's accessories can be improved Common areas, pool and bedrooms excellent"
