“ Marta and Ikar were the most perfect and accommodating hosts for this historic and scenic B&B hotel. As owner/operators they made sure we were comfortable and catered too. Local jams and honey and and extra personal touches made this stay worthwhile. Slightly remote but close enough for a 15 minute drive into Tondela. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“We had a great stay in beautiful city of Coimbra. The apartment is nicely renovated with a functional kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom with an AC. It’s small but well organized. Two of us could stay comfortably. We appreciate that the owner provided us with continental breakfast in the fridge and freshly baked bread on the door every morning. It was in a great location, very close (on foot) to a tranquil botanical garden, historical buildings at university and Machado museum. We can’t recommend……

“The location was perfect for walking around and exploring the city. Eduardo provided lots of good suggestions, including where to hear Fado! It was fabulous. Having homemade bread and orange marmalade every morning was great. Sometimes, Eduardo takes a bit of time to respond to emails but hang in there, he will answer soon!”

"Beautiful hotel and vibe! Good location, right next to the university. Breakfast is carefully curated with home made cake etc but there wasn’t a lot of variety.
Parking was a pain given the hotel is situated on top of the hill surrounded by narrow roads that are parked with cars, but one can manage with help. "
