"The home is lovely, it’s well appointed and so clean! The owner, Jon, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There was even a spread of fruits, muffins, teas and milk! He and his son helped us with our luggage. We’d been traveling in Spain for a month and were looking for a spot near the Bilbao airport for our early flight-really wish we’d have been able to spend more than one night there! We will be back to explore this beautiful part of the country and stay in this apartment again!"

While Gorliz is a suburb of Bilbao (approximately 50 minutes on metro to Plentzia) & w/o a car one must ride a bus to this location (8-10 min.-get off at Aldai) or a 30 min. walk), it’s a lovely town to walk around. "Great location. Well, every place is close, but it is far enough away from the bars to get some rest. The room is clean and efficient. My wife and I felt very safe. There are electric locks from the street to the pension (hotel) main entrance to the room door, all opened with the provided to key. The bed is comfortable and bathroom small but clean with good shower. I would come again."
