The hotel is located at a convenient but quiet location near metro and tram routes. It was also a close 5-8 minute walk to a busy area with grocery store, shops and restaurants. Immediately when we entered, we were greeted by friendly staff and a very cute lobby. One of the bar staff offered us coffee and juice. It was really nice as we just had a stressful travel day before arriving. We had a nice size room for our family of 4. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. We had a great canal view too. The hotel had complimentary umbrella for the two days that rained which was very convenient for travellers. And they offered either option of a full buffet breakfast or option to order a simple portion breakfast at the lobby bar. This was super convenient as we had kids and they didn’t have a huge appetite. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back again.

This was a stunningly chic boutique hotel right in the heart of the city. It was decorated so beautifully, it felt very luxurious. The room was big enough and the canal view was the icing on the cake. Staff bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to walk to most major attractions and were given umbrellas when it rained. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

I have been bitten by bed bugs during this trip. I have been to many hotels so I don't know where I have gotten them from. Otherwise I am very satisfied with our stay at Monet Gardens. Liked the location because it was close to many sightseeing areas. The neighborhood was a bit rough though.

The staff were exceptional and very accommodating. From receiving us with a cold refreshment when we were checking in to assisting us with transportation. To the airport on our departure we could t have asked for a more delightful stay. A huge, huge plus was our incredible view from our family room! We were right above the canal and enjoyed the view and sounds of the church bells chiming—it was magical! A perfect stay!

I loved this hotel. The decorating is very well done. The hotel was quiet. And, the staff was very nice. A storm occurred shortly after we arrived. So, we dined at the hotel. Our salad, pizza, and drinks were surprising good! It was so nice to have those options on a stormy night. We walked to many of the Amsterdam sites. It was about a 25 minute walk to the Anne Frank House. It was about a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro. Very nice hotel.

Stayed here in a triple room for 3 nights on the 4th floor which was clean, spacious and had everything we needed from safe and hairdryer, to mini fridge and iron. The rain shower was brilliant and we had a canal view too which was nice to wake up to. Comfortable beds and friendly, helpful staff. This is a little bit away from the centre which we loved as it was also easily walkable to the centre and the Zoo as well as being near the Nieuwmarkt area of the city which has a varierty of restaurants,bars and coffeeshops. There are also Tram stops and metro stations near by. There are also 2 supermarkets just down the street and round the corner from the hotel which was very handy. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We waited over 30 minutes to check in. Front desk was not knowledgable or helpful for recommending restaurants or attractions. The bathroom flooded every time we showered. The fold out couch was bad quality. Hotel is not located in a pretty area of Amsterdam.
