Enjoyed my experience staying at the Alfred Hotel.
In the city center, The Alfred Hotel is in Amsterdam's Museum Quarter neighborhood, an area with great shopping. Flower Market and The 9 Streets are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Artis and Amsterdam Dungeon. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Olympic Stadium or Johan Cruyff Arena. Our guests love the hotel's location for the sightseeing. It's also convenient to public transportation: Cornelis Schuytstraat Stop is 4 minutes by foot and Museumplein Stop is 8 minutes.

The property is at a good location and the amenities were good too. What really put me off was a particular staff member in reception and the first room I was put in. This particular staff had a tone, towards me since check in. She was the blonde lady at reception with curly hair but the rest of her colleagues are wonderful and helpful. I would like to thank, Clarissa for being patient and kind. However, if I were to book a room there again, I would stay away from room 107. It'sright opposite the lift and right next to reception. It may or may not have bed bugs too...
