Nice position in quiet area. Opposite an amazing gym and staff always happy to help. Slept very well although the beds are singles and narrow.

The rooms heating stopped working for two nights. Finally I asked to be moved. They moved me but didn’t offer a discount for those two nights.

Fantastic location for a short stay in the museum district. We lucked out with an awesome firework and light display New Year’s party just down the road which was amazing. Rooms could use a little TLC and that vending machine in the lobby is actually a test on how high you are:)

The property is in a great location, near to the train stations and main tourist points of interest. The rooms are small and in ours, there were no light bulbs, only lamps, which made the room extremely dark. The staff is very friendly. Overall it was a good hotel for a few days in Amsterdam.

The location is great, you can walk to most places. The lady at the reception is friendly and solution oriented. The air conditioner is old and problematic, but generally hotel above the price performance.

The member of staff we met on check in was lovely and showed us all the places to go whilst we were their. Unfortunately the room we booked we thought was a standard room with a balcony like it states on their website we did not get. The room was hideously hot and after asking for them to bring a fan up whilst we went out as we had only just got there and wanted to explore. They never brought one up and we entered a sauna again, which gave us a lot of trouble trying to sleep.

The hotel was filthy and chaotic. Cleaning had clearly been superficial only and each corner was damp and dirty, giving you the sense that something was either growing or breeding there. The water in the coffee maker was stagnant. Light bulbs had not been replaced. There was no natural light in one of the rooms. The room and bathroom design was another health and saftety hazard. My wife and daughter hit their heads. While linen was clean the pillows smelled of bed head. And Wi-Fi was poor. It was like Faulty Towers. In the spirit of Faulty Towers, the staff were really friendly and seemed to take the chaos in their stride. The location is fantastic - had the beds been comfortable and had there been windows for air and light, then maybe it would have been worth it. But it was beyond uncomfortable - an affront to the senses and frankly unhealthy and dangerous. The saving grace was the gym across the street which was light, bright, well-equipped with a great cafe with healthy food and excellent Wi-Fi. The hotel has a deal with them where you pay 5 euros to train for 1.5 hours then you can hang out there in comfort and use Wi-Fi. Great coffee and restaurants nearby too.
