We were moving our son in to an apartment in town so we didn’t get to spend as much time enjoying the house and lake as we would have liked but the availability of kayaks and life vests are a nice bonus. We did bring our own fishing gear and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would definitely book this property again!”

“These grounds are BEAUTIFUL, so peaceful, relaxing, the gardens were so well kept, like a story book! The history is amazing! We had 10 people stay for my daughter’s SFA graduation and they all want to return, because it was such a wonderful place to stay, so relaxing and peaceful. (It was about 15 minutes south of Lufkin and about 25 more minutes to Nacogdoches, but we’ll worth the drive! We will be back♥️. Great coffee bars, teas, salt and pepper, dish soap, dish washer soap, everything...
