"Clean"

APA Hotel Asakusa Ekimae

"Clean rooms however not the biggest, can be difficult opening up cases. Amenities are minimal water dispensers and vending machines however there are no on site washing facilities or smoking room. Front desk staff are helpful however cleaning staff persistently knock and a try to enter your room even when you’ve told them you don’t require the service. Location is convenient with a metro station and convenience store right outside."

"The hotel is beautiful from the outside (landscaping, walking paths, courtyard with burbling water feature) and to the inside with its spacious lobby (coffee available) as well as restaurant. The third floor has fresh drinking water, vending machines and washing machines, an indoor/outdoor zen space and a relaxation space with massage chairs. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable. Bathroom has many amenities. There are pyjamas, robes and slippers. The breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold foods and fresh fruit. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. It’s a short walk to the subway station and a commercial street. Would definitely stay there again."

"Amazing hotel, great service at a great price, located near major stations to get everywhere in Tokyo quickly. Amenities were restocked daily. Only issue was the washer/dryers. Not enough of them plus they do not dry your clothes if you have a large load of clothes. Otherwise, amazing, would stay here again."

Asakusa Tobu Hotel

"This was my second stay at the hotel. I love the location. It is located about 2 blocks from the Asakusa Line. It is just across the street from the Ginza Line and one of the 2 tourist information centers in Asakusa. There is a 7-Eleven store on the same side of the street a couple of stores to the right. Just around the corner is the start of a shopping street and a McDonalds. Nakamise Shopping street is a block and a half away. There is a small dept store across the street with a fine Yakiniku restaurant on the 7th floor. While we were there we were fortunate to be located in the midst of the 3-day-long Sanja Matsuri festival. It was exciting and it was easy to be very near to the procession of floats. The twin room was small but everything was well maintained and modern. Service was pleasant and accommodating."
