The staff were outstanding, very attentive. The restaurant staff were impeccable. However, there was a special on a certain cut of steak and they ran out of that cut of meat.
Our reservation was at 6:30 PM and they opened the restaurant at 6:00 PM. The waitress presented the steak special and we asked for it upon describing it to us. Minutes later the waitress came back to inform us that the special was no longer available. She pointed out that there were only two (2) special cut steaks when the restaurant opened and they were now gone.
We were a party of four (4) and the special steak cut was 40 ounces and would have accommodated all of us.
Next, our party of four (4) were celebrating a double wedding anniversary. We both were married on May 27. When I made the reservations for dinner and the hotel I was asked if there was a special occasion. I stated yes and shared that information.
After dinner we received four (4) glasses of some disgusting champagne. The other couple with us received roses and chocolate candy on their bed after dinner, we did not.
The next day, we had in room breakfast and it was great , aside from the green melon served in the fruit plate being hard and perhaps out of season or not ripe.
Lastly, I checked out and was asked how did my stay go with Sagamore Pendry Baltimore? I was fortunate to speak with the gentlemen, Rick, that checked us into the hotel. I share with him my experience listed in the above and he comped the valet.
