“The basic stuff was great. Check in was easy. Great area. We picked this cottage as it was close to several things we wanted to do. It is right across the street from the Railroad Museum which is awesome. Bring everything you think you might need. A few simple things would make this place a five. Coffee machine, hair dryer, thicker bigger towels, mat for your feet when you get out of the shower, extra toilet paper, extra towels(three small body towels, two wash clothes and a hand towel), maybe……

“Without question our stay was one of the best we have ever had. The SeaRiver Cabin was exceptional in comfort and cleanliness. It was just right for two people. It was pet-friendly. The Host was more than helpful in checking in and giving advice for good restaurants. ”

“The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. We ended up calling VRBO the night before as we were scared from the lack of contact. They got ahold of the host who finally answered us the night before arrival. At……

“Super cozy and comfortable cabin! We had a wonderful time using the fire pit and the self-serve camp store was so convenient. It was just big enough for the two of us and the bed was comfortable! Check in super easy, online and contactless. The grounds are clean, beautiful and tucked away from the actual park. We also enjoyed the included after hours access to the sand dunes, it was so nice to explore in the twilight with no other visitors around. ”

“Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!!
