It was great to have access to the hot tub at sunset, and such close access to Winter Harbor, where the village is small and walkable with a small grocery, several places for breakfast, and several great lunch and dinner dining options. The drive to Bar Harbor and the Mount Desert Island side of Acadia is only about 45 minutes, as is the Ferry from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor. The inn……

“We had 2 rooms for 3 nights. The location is excellent if you want to visit Acadia. The bed was very comfortable. The electricity, AC, TV and plumbing worked. There were no bugs in the rooms and we felt safe. But the pictured room was nothing like the very old and run down rooms we had. Mom's room #7 was very small and mine #21 was larger but the bathroom was not safe for anyone with mobility issues (like my mom). There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms.
