“The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!”

“This cabin/ mobile home was very cosy and in a convenient location, just outside of Bar Harbor. It was tastefully decorated in a seafaring motif. Clean, quiet, and affordable!”

“Room was clean and tidy and the outside property is beautiful. This is an old, historic inn that definitely needs some updates and a more hospitable check-in manager. No “hello or welcome”, he just said “step over here” (in a dark corner) and “I need the card you paid with”. I responded with “Hello how are you today?” Not a welcoming friendly vibe from the front desk staff who are as poorly dressed as the inn. “First I wanna say the owner is sweet and I think she means well but I feel like its too much for her to maintain and be responsible for. My friend and I booked this room for a night on our way to Bar Harbor. I noticed immediately that the harbor IS across the street but theres a building there not a little beach or anything that you can go down onto. “Great, helpful and friendly staff!!! Great price and location. Only issues were very minor, and any issues that were addressable were immediately remedied. We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. There is a small cafe room serving (in the morning) free……

“The Inn was a perfect spot to stay just outside of Bar Harbor but close to the park. They were so accepting of our dog who traveled with us and the room was very cozy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.”

“Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We……
