Visit Ponzi Historic Estate, one of the oldest wineries in Oregon, for further wine tasting and sweeping views of Beaverton’s countryside. Beer connoisseurs might enjoy a visit to the Uptown Market. Sample craft beers from around the world, purchase homebrew equipment or take beer-brewing classes.

Being only a 15-minute drive from downtown Portland, many people visit Beaverton and its scenic countryside on daytrips. Public transport such as buses and light rail provide quick access between the two cities. Consider renting a car to access Beaverton’s parks and reserves. Alternatively, take advantage of 25 miles (40 kilometers) of pathways and rent a bicycle.
