“We are so glad that we picked Riad Illayka for our first visit to Marrakech. You are treated like family from the moment you arrive. Rahim went out of his way to make us comfortable. From trying to navigate the souks, avoiding getting scammed, to making reservations for dinner and excursions. He also arranged a personal masseuse to come on the premises for us. The riad itself is absolutely stunning and so luxurious. The location is central to everything and you could walk to all the landmarks……

“Staff stood out. As a women traveling solo I felt completely safe and every single individual I’ve come across was beyond sweet. I felt like I had two big brothers who were ensuring I had a comfortable safe stay - needless to say, there were a handful of times I needed help getting back to the Riad as my GPS was not routeing correctly and neither one ever hesitated to come get me. Highly recommend and will stay again when in Marrakech!”

“I loved my stay at Dar Assiya. The staff was so helpful with guides, cabs, tuktuk, and meals. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The a/c worked great, and the pool was gorgeous to dine next to. I suggest getting dinner at least one night here, they do great vegetarian tagines as well as meat tagines. The breakfast was stellar and huge. They offered a different assortment of delicious pancakes, pastries, eggs and lots of good coffee. It was well worth it to do the airport transfer……

With a special thanks to Abdul, the manager, who went above and beyond, although the service overall from everyone working there was phenomenal. The Riad itself was beautiful, clean and welcoming. The driver picked me up from the airport and drove me to the entrance of the Medina where someone from the Riad met me to help with my bags and walk me to the Riad.
