We stayed at 6 hotels on our Oregon trip. This was by far the worst. Run down. Dirty surfaces. Pool surface stained. Tiny rooms. Batteries exposed on door lock mechanisms. Definitely near end of life. Interestingly, it was the most expensive as are other hotels in Bend. Definitely would not stay there again. I admit I am picky. Most seemed to be ok with it.

Some of the staff was friendly and competent. Others, not so much. One worker setup my pre-paid room so I was being charged daily and I had to get them to correct that after the first day. The breakfast was not good, the place seems rundown.

The staff was very nice but our room smelled very bad like wet dog. I am happy to share a hotel with pets and love dogs but they really must run an ozone deodorizer in the room after. They are cheap on Amazon, we use them in our veterinary exam rooms after especially stinky dogs or cats and it works wonders. There were a lot of rips and tears in the furniture too but it wasn’t the worst. The smell was just tough to get used to.

Expedia for some reason defaulted to a different date. I called them within 2 hours and Las Quinta refused to help me. Customer satisfaction should be high on the list, not forcing me to pay for a reservation I could not use.

Nice staff and service, safe and quiet location of the hotel. The Bend factory outlet of is near by, which is really convenient for shopping. The other good thing is that the old mill district is the distance of only 5 minute drive. However, there was no fresh fruits in the breakfast, I wish it will be changed in the future.

The WiFi was terrible. It kept disconnecting and was slow, at best. Our tub was so old, there was visible bondo for the large crack. Please don’t respond to the review with your cut and paste answer that you give to everyone. It’s disingenuous and shows that you have absolutely no interest in making your hotel better. For the price I paid, I expected more. I should have stayed somewhere else.
